Sorry, folks. The following sentence in my letter yesterday about paper vs
plastic bags: "Something many times before the fibers become too small,"
somehow got cut from its paragraph. Here's the paragraph as I'd intended it:

"Something to keep in mind is that a paper bag can be recycled many times
before the fibers become too small and wash out in the pulping process."
