Hi I was wondering if anyone can give me some rough, real world examples
for energy consumption - for example, if I gave you the figure 1000
million BTU's, this is enough energy to power a house for
___days/months/years, or enough energy to drive a car continuously for
___ days/months/years. I realize that there are a lot of factors, but I
only need rough examples to drive a point home. 1000 million BTU's will
be a good base figure for me to work from.

Any information would be very helpful, thanks in advance,

John
