Come learn what YOU can do to end subsidies
that undermine recycling, promote producer
responsibility for waste, and call on Congress
to do what the rest of us already do -- recycle!
Hear about GRRN's campaigns to make
Coca-Cola live up to its broken promise to
use recycled plastic, and to get Miller Brewing
to consider recyclability before further
introducing its new plastic beer bottle.
This was not advertised in the Congress Previews
mailed earlier, so please help us publicize it.
Everyone interested in recycling advocacy
is invited.
-- GRRN will also have a BOOTH for the first
time this year (courtesy of some of you
reading this)! We will have the new Zero
Waste video for sale ($25) and Welfare for
Waste reports ($10), plus lots of literature
on our campaigns. Please visit Booth #621
-- "Advocates for Recycling" -- and find out
what you can do to advance a new vision for
recycling.
Exhibit hall times are: Monday 12:30 to
5:00 PM; Tuesday 12:15 to 6 PM; and
Wednesday 8:00 AM to Noon.
