If this information came from the teacher, it is
disconcerting. I am concerned about schools going in for
political proselytizing, especially at the early grade
school level. My 6 and 8 year old boys believe strongly in
many things and are affected by them deeply, but they need
some guidance and help with perspective and more
information to be good decisionmakers and thinkers.

It sounds like this issue is deeper and more complicated
than just evil corporate empire builders turning yet more
forests into parking lots just to fuel their human
sacrifice machine. I am reminded of the Monty Python Holy
Grail movie witch hunt scene: "How do you know she is a
witch?" "She turned me into a newt!"

I cannot leave out another favorite from the same film:
"Help! Help! I'm being repressed!"
