Check out the Producer Responsibility and Zero
Waste Resolutions passed by the town council of
Carrboro, North Carolina. The resolutions are the
first to be adopted based on GrassRoots Recycling
Network's model resolutions. Both are now posted
on our new web site (http://www.grrn.org), along
with letters from the Carrboro mayor to state and
federal elected representatives urging them to
adopt legislation. Look in the Resource Library
under Zero Waste and Producer Responsibility.

Congratulations to Lou and Janet Zeller and the
Blue Ridge Environmental Defense League's Zero
Waste Campaign for planting the idea for these
resolutions with Council member Alan Spalt.

While you are in the Resource Library, check out
another new item -- the Del Norte Zero Waste Plan
proposal and update. Excellent work, Tedd Ward!
