Hi -

I don't know the sources of funding, but I have found the Warmer
Bulletin to be an excellent source of information on solid waste
programs around the world (a serious lacking in US magazines), with a
strong bias towards all alternatives to landfills. They push heavily on
integrated solid waste management, sustainable development, etc.

Besides straight information, they also do a lot on looking into the
philosophy of managing solid waste, having guest writers, extensive
letters to the editors, even international contests.

I think it is a very worthwhile publication.

Further to Hatti Koth of NEC's question about Warmer -

I am an ex-pat American (BTW formerly with Hennepin County, MN
for those of you at NEC) now resident in Britain. I agree with
John's comments and can attest to the fact that Warmer enjoys an
excellent reputation in its country of origin, too.
