I thought about posting it to the list, but since it was off the top of my
head (and not even checked for errors), I thought it best to send it only to
you at this stage. I also have to take into account that I am currently
contracted to work on public education with Halifax Regional Municiaplity
and they are quite cautious about everything that is put out to the public.
We do intend to recommend that they establish a website which would
officially detail the municipality's programs. There are bits and pieces on
solid waste already on two different servers, but it is very scattered and
out of date.
I do appreciate your comments. I think I will proof it, perhaps adding a few
more details, and then post it to the lists. I may still have to run it by
officials at HRM however.

Your query has elicited some interesting responses in the context of some of
the debate on both lists of late. I remain convinced, despite the setbacks
from time to time, that this is the right approach.

I do know of the conference, but don't think I will get to it. We have no
budget for out-of-region expenses or travel.
