Michael,
Great idea. Bob Woodall is already thinking along these lines and has two
Atlanta shareholders interested.
Cheers,

Jennie,
You probably know this, but in case you don't:
Coca Cola sends out a newsletter "Network News" to stockholders, I believe,
to keep them updated on attempts by citizens to establish bottle bills. The
newsletter is pretty useless (really not much info in it) but you might want
to try to get a subscription. Try calling Sara Cahillane of their "Civic
Action Network" 800-595-COKE.
Has anyone tried submitting a Resolution at a Coke annual meeting asking that
Coke re-establish bottle deposits in Georgia (and elsewhere)? If it's done
correctly, it has to be included at their annual meeting and proxy votes sent
to all shareholders. Such a resolution can be submitted by any shareholder
and it's a way to inform the shareholders on issues. I don't know how to
initiate the process but if you know someone who can write a resolution for a
shareholder meeting, I might be willing to submit it since I am a
shareholder. We may have just missed their annual meeting. I don't usually
pay much attention to them.
