A lawn measuring 50 ft. X 100 ft. yields 1 ton of clippings per
year.

1/4 acre of lawn produces 3,000 lbs./year, or 100 lbs. per week
during a 30 week season.

Therefore, 1 acre of lawn produces 6 tons of clippings per year.
